Day 01: Medan
After the greeting of your tour guide at the airport in Medan, we make a short city tour and visit including: Mesjid Raya "great mosque", Maimoon Sultan Palace, a Chinese temple and Merdeka walk field.then check in to the hotel Deli River or similar in Medan.
Day 02: Medan - Bukit Lawang (B)
After breakfast, departure to Bukit Lawang (Gunung Leuser National Parks) Past the town Binjai (Rambutanscity);.On the way we visit oil palms and rubber plantations. Arrival in Bukit Lawang; Check in to Ecolodge and after checking in at the Lodge we visit the feeding centre of orangutans in Mount Leuser National Park.Overnight in the hotel.
Day 03: Jungle Tracking (B-L-D)
We break early in the morning to a 3 days jungle trekking in the mount Leuser National Park. We discover the specifics of the tropical rainforest, the roofing of trees is so dense that comes very little light through. Various plant species have developed very different techniques to get enough light. So for example, highly growing on the tree trunks Liana are climbing trees. Overnight at tent (Included Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Day 04: Jungle Tracking – Bukit Lawang (B-L)
Today we make a jungle tour in Gunung Leuser National Park, which houses the most quite Indonesia mammalian species. Gunung Leuser National Park is very famous with: wild Orang-Utans, Presbytis thomasi, black handed Gibbon (Hylobates agilis), the White beard Gibbon (Hylobates albibarbis), which include Siamang (Hylobates syndactylus) and bird species such as the Argus (Argusianus argus) - his ki-au-call is a very characteristic sound in the forests of Sumatra, the Rhinoceros Hombill (Buceros rhinoceros), etc.
on the banks of the Bohorok River we,ll take our lunchbox then by tubing back to the hotel.Overnight in the hotel.Day 05: Bukit Lawang – Elephantstracking – Tangkahan (B)
Breakfast at Lodge then drive to Tangkahan; on the way stop at several plantation for rubber, cocoa and palm oil, arrival and check in to Mega Inn or similar.
You can make an appointment with the elephant trainer to see the elephants bathing in the river and ride an elephant for one hour.After this unique experience, it goes to the so-called "Butterfly Beach", which has its name due to the thousands, colorful butterflies and moths. Overnight.
Day 06: Tangkahan – Berastagi (B)
Drive to Berastagi, a cool mountain resort which is famous for fruit, flower and vegetables lies about 1.400 meters above sea level.
En-route stops at crocodile farm, Velancany church and for a tea break and toilet.
Arrival in Brastagi, Visiting fruit market to try the local fruits such as passion fruit, mango, avocado, etc. Overnight stay in hotel
Day 07: Berastagi – Sibayak Volcano hiking – Samosir Island (B)
Early in the morning we climb on the Volcano Sibayak.
From the top of Volcano Sibayak we visit Semangat Gunung village with a sulphur Hotspring.
Following drive to Parapat on the lake toba.On the way we make visiting the waterfall Sipiso piso and the panorama of Lake of Toba.
Arrival in Parapat, by ferry we reach the Samosir island on Lake Toba.
Day 08: Samosir Tour (B)
After breakfast excursion on Samosir Island by car, visiting several Batak Toba traditional villages :
- Ambarita : To see stone chairs and table stone the old meeting place of Sialagan Kings.
- Simanindo : To see Batak Toba traditional dance and museum.
- Pangururan : To see the view of Lake Toba and Hot springs water.
- Tomok : To see the old tomb of Sidabutar Kings
along On this trip also possible to stop at school to see the activities of young children in the school, visiting the village where the people make traditional hand weaving + stop also at scenic places like the graves!
Afternoon return back to hotel.
Overnight.
Day 09: Samosir Island – Sipirok (B)
After breakfast crossing back to Parapat and arrival at Parapat drive to Sipirok, on the way stop at Pineapple, clove, and coffee plantation and visiting traditional market at Balige Sigur-gur and Sipoholon Hot Springs.
Before arrival at Sipirok the day enjoy the nature by walking at the bank of Sarulla river, the rice terrace and arrival at Sipirok check in to hotel
Day 10: Sipirok – Bukit TinggiI (F)
Leave Sipirok for Bukittinggi by passing rain tropical forest of Rimba Panti and stop will be made to see the attraction of monkey picking up the coconut.
Visit pepper, vanilla, cardamon and cinnamon garden, and crossing the equator line at Bonjol.
afternoon arrival at Bukittinggi the charming towns of Minangkabau directly check in to hotel.
Day 11: Minang Kabau Tour (B)
After having breakfast at Hotel we will have Bukittinggi City Tour visit Sianok Canyon (Ngarai Sianok), Fort De Kock, Kinantan Zoo, Museum Puti Bungsu, walking around Clock Tower (Jam Gadang) and Public Market of Bukittinggi. Overnightstay.
Day 12: Bukit Tinggi – Harau Valley (B)
Breakfast at hotel. We start to go to Lembah Harau ; First we drive to Pagaruyung Palace and in the afternoon arrival at Harau Valley check in to simple guest house Lembah Echo.
Day 13: Harau Tracking (B-L)
After breakfast start tracking up to the jungle with a fantastic view of rice field and villages can be enjoyed, on the tracking experience wild life with it flora and fauna. Will see several type of birds, monkeys like black gibbons, long tale Macaca, the foot step of wild deer, tapir, several kind of butterfly, orchids and will enjoy several waterfall and overnight Lembah Echo. (Lunch provided by tour guide)
Day 14: Harau Valley – Lake Maninjau (B)
After breakfast drive to Punacak Lawang, on the way stop at Koto Gadang village to see traditional silver work and arrival at Puncak Lawang tracking to Minjau via Lawang jungle on the way down to Lake Maninjau enjoying coffee break at traditional coffee shop in the jungle, during the tracking the opportunity to walk at the bank of rice field and village. Upon arrival at Maninjau check in to hotel Pasir Panjang.
Day 15: Lake Maninjau (B)
Today is your free time (swimming on lake maninjau, walking or cycling around the Lake)
Day 16: Lake Maninjau – Padang – Cubadak Island (B-D)
After breakfast drive to Padang via Pariaman with stop at Artha beach and arrival at Padang visit Muara beach and then Transfer to the island of Cubadak.
We stay here for 2 nights.
Day 17: Cubadak Island (B-L-D)
Today today is the activities on the island which will be arranged by the resort, the activities can be coverred :
- Snorkelling with its Snorkeling equipment
- Picnic days to neighbouring island ( Depend on the weather)
- Canoeing and Fun Sailing
- Tracking in the forest.
Fullboard meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) during stay in the Island included + Free flow of Sumatra tea and Coffee
Day 18: Cubadak Island - Padang - airport
After breakfast transfer to the airport in Padang, the end of your trip.
