8-DAYS NORTH SUMATRA ORANG UTAN TOUR

Day 01: Airport - Bukit Lawang

Expected morning arrival at Polonia Airport Medan, meet service and drive to Bukit Lawang with stop at several plantation for rubber and palm oil, arrival at Bukit Lawang check in to Ecolodge.Overnightstay.

Day 02: Bukit Lawang (B-L)

Early in the morning we go along Bukit Lawang Bohorok River, then we cross the river by canoe, we will learn about the National Park. After 30 minutes we arrive at Feedingsside of Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Walking up the jungle to see the Orang Utan on their feeding time. After feeding the Orang Utan tracking through the Leuser National Park, walking around Leuser National Park is the time to experience many kind of flora and fauna as well enjoy the song of birds and Siamang ,The Black Gibbon.Lunchbox on the River (swimming). After lunch we back to Bukit Lawang  by Tubing. Overnightstay.

Day 03: Bukit Lawang Telagah - Pamah Simelir - Kawar Lake (B-D)
After breakfast drive to Kawar Lake at the foot of the volcano Sinabung.
On the we make stops at: botanical gardens in Timbang Lawan village, fruit and vegetables plantation, local market in Tanjung Langkat or Kuala.
Arrival in Telagah Village, then we continue the journey by offroadscar to Kawar Lake.
On the way we can join with the local farmer near Kuta Rayat village.
Afternoon we arrival in Kawar Lake and check in to a family guesthouse.
Overnight in the simple Familyhouse on the Lake Kawar.
Dinner with the family.

Day 04: Kawar Lake - Berastagi - Tongging (B)
After breakfast we check out by car through the magnificent landscape of the diamond high mountains to Tongging on Lake Toba.
On the way we visit historical sites such as a fruit market Berastagi,  Lingga village, the Sipisopiso waterfall.
In the afternoon we reach the Toba Lake, the 3.th-largest lake of the world.
Overnight in the simple guesthouse Sibayak .

Day 05: Tongging - Parapat - Samosir Island (B)
Departure to Parapat.
On the way we visit the Royal Kingshouse of Simalungun- Batak Tribe and Simarjarunjung Hill.
Arrival in Parapat, then we reach the Samosir island by ferry.
Here we will stay at Tabo Cottagges or similar for 2 nights.

Day 06: Samosir Island (B)

After breakfast excursion on Lake Toba by car , visiting several interesting Batak Toba traditional villages, Tomok (to see the old Tomb of Sidabutar Kings), Ambarita (to see stone chair and table once used as an execution place of Siallagan tribal chieftains), Simanindo (to see Batak folklore dance and museum).

We enjoy our time on the island to reading, writing, or simply relax, or just swimming in the Lake and  walks on the island.
Overnight.

Day 07: Samosir - Parapat - Medan (B)
Drive back to Medan via Pematang Siantar and Tebing Tinggi.
In Medan, we make a city tour and visit including: Mesjid Raya, a Sultan Palace, a Chinese temple and a crocodile farm.Overnight in the hotel Garuda Plaza .

Day 08: Medan - Airport (B)
After breakfast drive to the airport in Medan.
End of the journey
